To design an easy to understand website that will increase awareness of 3G technology in Australia.

Overall we will be gathering and working with information to put it in a more simple way, so that the general public understands the technical information. We will delve into the functionality of 3G technology, such as video calling, broadband data to mobiles, using instant messenger services, etc.

3G Technology

• Wireless Broadband data to mobile phones.
• Wi-fi internet through 3G sim card.
• Streaming video content – news, sports.
• Speeds from 144Kbps (3 times faster than dial-up) to 2.4Mbps providing in 3G network area.
• Faster web browsing (Use Opera-mini).
• Instant messenger services.
• iFind (Optus) – like GPS.
• Emails (faster).
• If using PDA phone such as O2 atom you can use it for emails, web browsing, office (Word, Excel, etc.).
