Talk with Naomi

Aite guys,

Just giving everyone an update. I had a talk with Naomi this morning, and she felt a bit disheartened that our current design strayed a bit from our original idea. However, I was able to pop up the actionscript effects to save us! She was then able to pass some "suggestions" on how to save the design so it doesn't lose the feel we had with our initial idea (in regards to the hand-written text for the family tree).

Naomi suggested that we make the titles hand-written, with arrows pointing to the individual sections. She also suggested that we scrunch down the 3G section so that it sort of fits into the middle of the site (and thus, begins to look more like our original family-tree).

Finally, the background (table area) could be darkened a bit. She pretty much liked the notebook design you had initially Chantelle, so just look at that to get an idea of what she was talking about. But don't worry too much, I should be able to readjust everything so it suits her preference. She made some valid points, because the design at the moment has sort of lost the feel we had before. It's just not as strong. No incredible biggie though! If there's a will, there's a way. As soon as I add in more actionscript effects, and make those small adjustments, the site should start to come alive.
